We are all aware of the fact that managing an Indian wedding smoothly is not a piece of cake! It’s a mission to run everything in sync with the proper timelines. The best way to do it without a pain killer is by breaking down the entire wedding day timeline. This will help you stay organized plus, be on-track on the D-Day. Previously, we did a timeline for wedding planning, but now we made a timeline for the wedding day!

Trust us, the more detailed you can make the plan, the better. We know, you must be thinking that this would be a complicated task, but it’s not, in fact, it will reduce all the complications! Firstly, take all the details from both the families and then collate all of that together. The best way to do is by asking your best friend or brother to do this with you. That way you can hand over the duty of running that timeline once it’s set by you on the d-day!

5 Hours Before

Have sometime for yourself before the wedding chaos begins. If it’s a day wedding, then get and relish on a healthy breakfast (ideally fruits) and relax with your friend or mom. You can also call your groom-to-be and have a quick chat with him.

4 Hours Before

You MUA, as well as hairstylists, should arrive at this time. If you want some pictures as well as videos while getting ready then you should start getting ready 4 hours prior. We would suggest you add one hour to whatever your bridal MUA states it’s going to take her.

Pro Tip: Have at least two friends with you while getting ready to take care of any last-minute help.

3 Hours Before

Take some time to have a quick break to sip on some juice or a bite to eat. Don’t waste much time in this!

2.5 Hours Before

Make your wedding planner or sibling or your friend confirm with all wedding vendors. If there is something that needs to be done, get help quickly!

2 Hours Before

By this time, your photographer’s team should arrive at the venue to get some getting-ready pictures. You can also take a 15-minute break here for all your getting-ready photographs. Because BTS is also important!

1.5 Hours Before

You have to be almost ready by this hour! Just go through last-minute checks and if something is not at its places like your drape, mascara, jewellery or anything, ask your MUA to fix it immediately.

1.25 Hours Before

Again, make your wedding planner or sibling or your friend confirm with all the members who need to be there for family photos. Catch hold your parents first as they would be running here and there to attend the guests.

1 Hour Before

By this hour, all photographs and videos that need to be done with your partner, squad, family need to happen in the next 30 minutes. Plus, if you haven’t reached the venue, then you should leave by this time even if its 10 minutes away!

30 Minutes Before

This time should be used to fix anything that needs fixing like your drape, lipstick and everything else. Then, have a glass of juice and sit for 5 minutes quietly before its time to walk down the aisle!

At the time of Wedding!

This period will vary most for weddings as it really depends on the type of ceremony you’re having. Congratulations, you are now married!

Dinner Time!

It’s your time to, have your first meal as Mr and Mrs!
