You must have researched and explored numerous places to get that wedding lehenga of your dreams. But what to do with it after the wedding? You just can’t store that treasured attire and not wear it again. This won’t be a good idea if you really want to don that wedding lehenga again for a friend or relatives’ wedding. We know, you can’t wear that lehenga the way it is as you do not repeat your outfit. There are trendy ways to restyle your wedding lehenga other than storing it in your closet. Here are some other ways in which you can reutilize your lehenga and avoid making it a once in a blue moon outfit.

Customizing it into an anarkali

That heavy lehenga and blouse can be customized into an Anarkali easily. It can be tailored beautifully and transformed into a unique as well as attractive outfit. You can get it made as a floor-length Anarkali style from your boutique. Plus, you can also get some embroidery work done on the waistline to make it an empire-line Anarkali suit.

Get a kurta or jacket stitched out of the lehenga’s dupatta

As your bridal lehenga will be a three-piece outfit, you can use those three pieces separately. In some cases, there are two dupattas as well, where the heavier one can be used to get a kurta or jacket stitched out of it. You can get a heavy Kurti stitched out of that embellished dupatta and wear it with your bridal lehenga and if you just had one dupatta with your lehenga then you can match it with another contrasting dupatta to complete the look.

Styling that heavy blouse with a plain skirt

Your bridal lehenga is one of the grandest outfits with an extravagant look. It choli or blouse must be embroidered with heavy embellishments. Plus, that skirt of the lehenga must be a heavy-duty piece. So what you can do is ditch that heavy lehenga and get a new, plain lehenga skirt stitched with it to reutilize that heavy blouse to give it a fresh look. In this way, you can create an elegant ensemble that you can rock to any of the functions.

Getting a new blouse for the heavy skirt

If you wore a simple design for the blouse at your wedding then you can get a new stylish blouse stitched with it. You can go for a sleeveless or off-shoulder blouse to make a statement. You can even reutilize the bridal lehenga’s choli and transform into a stylish piece by getting its sleeves removed. This will give a fresh look to your wedding Lehenga.

Draping it differently

If you are too much in love with your lehenga, then you can break the monotony of the lehenga by choosing some different styles of draping of your dupatta. This will give a whole new look to your wedding lehenga and give you options on how to wear it. For instance, you can tuck the dupatta with a nice belt to your lehenga or you can display the stunning work on your dupatta a front wrap drape.
